Program Details:

vvnVisionStartup Challenge is a four month long competition designed to encourage students from different backgrounds, specialties and expertise to come together to create a unified vision. From idea to business plan and beyond, the competition is designed to grow the visions of students into realities regardless of their background. We are looking for start-ups – young and innovative companies who aim to disrupt the landscape of their industry. Participants should be able to clearly state what makes their product or idea better than the competition, whether it is cheaper, quicker or more convenient?Our aim is to promote and support young entrepreneurs in India and eventually bring start-up culture to India, with a large number of engineers graduating every year more than any other country India is the place to have many start-ups.We seek your valuable support in this regards to encourage your students to be part of the vvnVisionStartup Challenge. Our team will be there with you throughout this duration to give orientation as well as to guide interested students.

vvnVision is an Indian startup designed to inspire, educate and connect entrepreneurs across the country.vvnVision was created with a purpose of connecting young entrepreneurs in India of all backgrounds under a common roof. Making each college as their home, we welcome students, alumni, professionals and organizations.We believe entrepreneurship is best taught by an example, so we host startups, entrepreneurs and people of various industries one a month. All attendees have the opportunity to meet the speakers and ask questions of their own.vvnVision is democratizing the way ideas become reality and get funded. Our mission is to empower entrepreneurs to the change with world with their ideas, ideas can be small and personal, some are large and mainstream. We help each idea move forward when it is supported by a group of entrepreneurs with a common goal.

Few things to know about vvnVision:

1.     vvnVision is a new way to fund innovative projects.We’re a home for everything from games, films, and music to art, design and technology. vvnVision is full of projects, big and small, that are brought to life through direct support of students like you.
 2.     Each project is independently created.Every student have complete control over and responsibility for his/her idea. vvnVision is a platform and a resource; we’re not involved in the development of the projects themselves. Anyone can launch a project on vvnVision as long as it meets our guidelines.
 3.     Together, creators and investors make projects happen.Every student’s idea has a set funding goal and deadline. If Investors like a project, they can pledge money and make it happen. Projects must reach their funding goals to receive funding.
 4.     Creators keep 100% ownership of their work.Investors support projects to help them come to life, project creators offer equity to thank investors for their support.
 5.     Investing on a project is more than just giving someone money.
It’s supporting their dream to create something that doesn’t exist in the world. We want students come to vvnVision to be inspired by new ideas. Some projects take longer than anticipated, but creators who are transparent about issues and delays usually find their investors to be understanding. 6.     Our mission is to help bring creative ideas to life.
We’re an independent company, we spend our time making vvnVision better every day, answering questions from investors and creators, and finding new projects to share. If a project is successfully funded, we apply 10% fee to the funds collected. We believe that creative projects make for a better world, and we want India to be the next startup hub by building a community of investors around an idea is the best way to make something new and eventually make India a startup hub
